Today the Public Arts League of Salado and Keep Salado Beautiful teamed up to provide a tour of the Salado Sculpture Garden to a group of vision impaired veterans from the Waco VA Hospital. It was an enjoyable morning walking through garden and spending time with our Veterans. Salado artist and Lt Col. Troy Kelley shared the story and inspiration behind the sculptures while Keep Salado Beautiful President and KSB volunteer Linda Rawls described the garden and the natural habitat of the area. Simply heaven with art, nature and those who put their lives on the line for our country and volunteers that love our Village.
